What Have I Learned From the PF Bloggers?

A lot about investing, saving and frugal living. But financial wisdom aside the top bloggers also impart lessons on how to succeed in life. What grabs my attention and gives me motivation are the following attributes

- Persevarance: All the top PF blogs have been around for at least a year if not more. My Two Dollars blog is a little more than a year old but in that timeframe David has posted over 650 posts and received over 2,200 comments. I am sure top notch bloggers also have bad days/weeks but they get over the rough patch and keep on posting. There are no short cuts to success!

- Passion: To blog consistently requires discipline. To create quality content requires passion. And it is this passion, which drives the top bloggers to research, explore, read and expound upon. If your heart is not into it, blogging like any other vocation will be a drag. I recommend the following blogs when it comes to quality content - Digetari Life, Millionaire Mommy Next Door and I Will Teach You To Be Rich.

- Innovation: To be top dog you have to lead. And the top bloggers lead by keeping up with new financial strategies, new technical innovations which support their blogging platforms, networking with peers and experts and being on the lookout for new opportunities. Get Rich Slowly's recent retirement announcement attests to the fact that blogging can be a profession - but to succeed you have to be one of the best.

Blogging or anything else you do in life requires hard work, passion and innovation for success. That is my lesson learned from the PF Blogosphere.
